Portfolio Visit 3
I was able to recontact Kiera D'Costa to look at my portfolio, she is an Landscape Architecture Designer in Sheffield. She was nice enough to look at my portfolio the second time after taking on her comments and altering my portfolio. This time the comments where very nice, she really likes the way I work and my use of colours. She agreed that I have two different ways of working 3D and Decorative Printing that are very feminine way or working. Keira mentioned working for a decorative company or looking into set designs. The printing quality had improved and she likes the images being retaking in a photography studio. Overall I was impressed with my feed back and do think I have a strong portfolio, the feed back really helped from all my portfolio visits the first time and second.
Hopes, Fears, Opportunities pt 2
Hopes
My hopes in the future would be being successful in my practice, I actually decided I want to become an Art Therapist as well as having my degree in Illustration. so I am planning on carrying out another course to be able to become an art therapist. I love the idea of helping people, in what i love to do, I always used my work to help me and to have a job that helps people in the same way.
Fears
Everyone has many fears, no one knows whats gonna happen but most my fears would be! Not getting a job in my practice, feeling like you did a degree that didn't get you any jobs. Failing as an artist or illustrator, clients not taking you on. Fear of not knowing what to do after you have your degree, not studying anymore or having too is a big step, from the age of 6 we needed to study and that's all we know off, so now working or looking for jobs is scary and big, its pretty hard especially still not knowing what you actually want to do.

Opportunities
Opportunities would be... Working with children at a hospital so I can learn and develop skills to become an Art Therapist. Looking for jobs and ideas of what to do! No matter what i will have a creative job, because that's who I am so hoping in the future I will find opportunities that will get me somewhere and that I can enjoy.

Ideas for animation
For my animation I was thinking of doing a 3D stop motion, looking at the time we have left and my work developments I've decided to make my animation as shadow puppets. I think it be a really interesting idea, creating black puppets which connects to my miracle calligraphy paintings.

Holly Wales
Holly Wales came and visited us at stockport college, she came to do a lecture about her amazing work and how she got where she has today. She explained all the struggles and all the compliments she has had over the years since her degree. her work is really impressive I love the use of colours and like the 3D effect she uses using pens.

Fig Taylor
Fig Taylor, Portfolio Adviser and has had a book published, called 'How to Create a Portfolio and Get Hired', came and visited our group at stockport college, she's really funny and her talk was very informative. She later got into small groups as she looked at our portfolio and was able to advise us. In my portfolio for a start she said i needed to reprint my work because the prints were pretty bad, and she couldn't tell what they are. also that my 3D work is really interested and I have a really good skill to keep at it but in illustration world theres not much for it, she also said look at charity work and set design and market myself doing those things.
