primary school children testing our ideas!

Me and a group chose too do the blue peter brief, and all come up with ideas based of children learning. the brief was that we needed to invent new ideas for Blue Peter to make easy learning activities for children of the age 8-12.
My idea was too bring Egyptian history as i've always loved it since I was that age myself, I also wanted to bring a little bit of science into it also.

We decided too go too a primary school to test if our ideas would work, here are some of the students work.

Paintings

I've always love this painting of Audrey Hepburn so i thought i do my own version

Rats home

I used a normal shoe box, because it was long like a boat, i used furniture jigsaws to make the furniture and used felt too give that homely effect.

Badgers House

I wanted to create a warm feeling toward badger because he is a very homely comfy guy like mole in the story. I decided to use the base with card and mold clay around the sides. I then added plastic flowers and props to give a warmly affect. I also added lights too make it look more realistic. Wallpaper in the background and I used furniture jigsaw too put the pieces together to add to the house.
